Polyfood Group first started with the production of polystyrene food trays in April of 2007 under the company Polyfood Pac. These polystyrene food trays were the host of the iconic “Enjoy your Meal” smiley face that was known and loved by all. A year later, in October of 2008, the company began the production of food grade PVC Cling film under the company Polyfood Film. Sadly, in July of 2017, Polyfood Pac was lost in a disastrous fire and the iconic smiley along with it, leaving only Polyfood Film standing.
From small beginnings we have grown to a medium sized business producing a product in par with other manufactures. Over the years, Polyfood Film has expanded into wholesale and distribution of a variety of other products including packaging, foil, spices and condiments, and cleaning solutions. It was through this expansion that brought about the birth of the Polyfood Group. A 100% South African owned and family run business, the Polyfood Group specialises in wholesale and distribution, and is the ideal one stop shop for distributors and exporters both nationally and internationally.
